Campbell Jeffrey Wilson: Producer,
Recording Engineer, Session Musician
Campbell is a singer songwriter originally from Scotland. He has enjoyed playing and making music from a young age, from clarinet in a wind band, to electric guitar in various rock bands. Other instruments include harmonica, piano, bass, drums and multi octave vocals.
He was heavily influenced by the folk music of Scotland and Ireland, particularly in Aberdeen where he spent a lot of time at folk jams and learned to play the tin whistle. In London he formed a garage rock band which he fronted and wrote for.
Having studied vocals specifically over the past couple of years, Campbell spent a lot of time working with vocal students (Inner voice, Songrise studios), and amateur singers. This was through a combination of live session work for performances and demo recording. The session work often involved choosing the appropriate key for the singer, and coaching them through the performance. The demo work involved building up an arrangement for a cover or original that the student wanted to record.
Campbell currently resides in Los Angeles running an Rocinante Studios. When not making music, you can usually find him surfing at Venice beach or paddle boarding in the Marina.
